Sure, our Colossus of Clout Irish Red Ale is delicious out of glass but hey, sometimes you've gotta eat. That's where this recipe, developed by our own Jimmy Parks, comes in. Forget the typical holiday snacks, this year put out some Colossus of Clout Beef Jerky. Your in-laws will never leave (hmm, maybe make this for yourself instead?)

2 1/2 lbs. ground beef or buffalo
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper.
3/4 Cup Colossus of Clout Irish Red Ale
1/3 Cup Worcestershire sauce

- Mix everything together in a bowl.
- Let marinate for about fifteen minutes.
- Pack into a jerky gun or press flat strips.
- Dehydrate for 8-10 hours.

James used a "Nesco Jerky Xpress" but honestly this marinade will work well with any dehydrator. If you use strips instead of ground meat you'll want to let marinate according to your recipe.
